1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge FZ-LLC. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, web application ("WebApp"), and the beauty and grooming services we provide at our salon located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge is a unisex salon serving men, women, and children, duly licensed by the Department of Economic Development (DED) and operating in compliance with the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), and Dubai Municipality.

By accessing our website, using our WebApp, booking an appointment, or receiving any services at our salon, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our services and platforms.

2. Definitions

• "Salon" refers to the physical premises of Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge in Dubai, UAE
• "Services" refers to all beauty, grooming, hair care, skin care, nail care, and related personal care services offered by the Salon
• "Client," "You," or "Your" refers to any individual who books, receives, or engages with our Services, website, or WebApp
• "Website" refers to our official website at www.rjbeautylounge.com
• "WebApp" refers to our online booking and client management web application
• "Staff" refers to employees, contractors, and professionals engaged by the Salon
• "Minor" refers to any individual under the age of eighteen (18) years

3. Services Offered

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge provides a comprehensive range of unisex beauty and grooming services, which may include but are not limited to:

• Hair cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments for men, women, and children
• Facial treatments, skin care, and beauty therapies
• Manicure, pedicure, and nail art services
• Waxing, threading, and hair removal services
• Bridal and special occasion packages
• Grooming services for men (beard trimming, shaving, etc.)
• Children's haircuts and grooming services

All services are performed by qualified and certified professionals in accordance with Dubai Municipality Technical Guidelines for Salons, Barbershops and Beauty Centres, and DHA requirements. Only Dubai Municipality-approved products are used in the provision of our services.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice. Certain specialised services (including but not limited to laser treatments, medical-grade skin procedures, or any treatment requiring DHA special permits) shall only be offered if the Salon holds the requisite approvals and licences.

4. Bookings and Appointments

4.1 Making a Booking

Appointments may be booked through our WebApp, website, by telephone, or in person at the Salon. All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmed booking constitutes an agreement to receive the selected services in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that plans may change. We request that you provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice or repeated no-shows may result in:

• A cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the booked service value
• Requirement of a non-refundable deposit for future bookings
• Restriction or suspension of booking privileges

4.3 Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, your service time may be reduced to avoid delays for subsequent clients. If you arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes late, your appointment may be treated as a no-show.

4.4 Walk-Ins

Walk-in clients are welcome and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Priority is given to clients with pre-booked appointments.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

All prices for services are displayed on our menu, website, and WebApp and are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. The price applicable to your booking shall be the price confirmed at the time of booking.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods: cash, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and digital payment solutions as available. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in advance. Online payments made through our WebApp are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.

5.3 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of personal care services, refunds are generally not provided once a service has been rendered. However, if you are dissatisfied with a service, please bring it to the attention of our management within twenty-four (24) hours. We will review your concern and, at our discretion, may offer a complimentary corrective service or credit towards a future visit.

Refunds for pre-paid packages or gift vouchers will be processed in accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020).

6. Client Responsibilities and Conduct

To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all clients and staff, you agree to the following:

• Provide accurate and complete information during booking and consultation, including any health conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities that may affect the service
• Inform our staff if you are pregnant, nursing, or have any medical conditions before any treatment
• Arrive for your appointment on time and in a presentable condition
• Treat all staff, other clients, and salon property with respect and courtesy
• Refrain from disruptive, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour on our premises
• Refrain from smoking on salon premises in compliance with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 on Tobacco Control
• Supervise children at all times while on salon premises
• Do not bring animals to the salon premises, in compliance with Dubai Municipality guidelines

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client who violates these conditions or poses a risk to the health and safety of others.

7. Health, Safety, and Hygiene

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge operates in full compliance with Dubai Municipality Technical Guidelines and DHA health and safety regulations. Our commitments include:

• All staff hold valid Occupational Health Cards issued by DHA and undergo regular medical fitness assessments
• Staff wear appropriate protective equipment including gloves, masks, and clean uniforms during treatments
• All tools, instruments, and equipment are sterilised after each use in accordance with Dubai Municipality standards
• Single-use items (razors, wax strips, applicators, etc.) are never reused
• Only Dubai Municipality-approved and registered cosmetic and personal care products are used
• Strict waste management and disposal procedures are followed to prevent the spread of infections
• Premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, subject to periodic inspections by DHA and Dubai Municipality officials
• Fire safety measures comply with Dubai Civil Defence requirements

7.1 Pre-Treatment Consultations

For certain services, including but not limited to chemical treatments, colouring, and skin procedures, a consultation and/or patch test may be required prior to service delivery. This is conducted in accordance with DHA guidelines to ensure client safety. You are required to disclose all relevant health information during such consultations. The Salon reserves the right to decline a service if it determines that the treatment may pose a health risk to the client.

7.2 Allergic Reactions and Adverse Effects

While we take every precaution to ensure client safety, individual reactions to products or treatments may occur. By receiving our services, you acknowledge that the Salon shall not be held liable for any allergic reaction, skin irritation, or adverse effect that may arise from a treatment where accurate health information was not disclosed, or despite adherence to all safety protocols.

8. Services for Minors

We welcome children at Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge. The following conditions apply to services provided to individuals under the age of eighteen (18):

• A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent before any service is performed on a minor
• A parent or guardian must accompany the minor and remain on premises during the service
• The Salon reserves the right to decline any service that it deems inappropriate or unsafe for a minor
• Data relating to minors is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable child protection regulations, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and WebApp, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos, trademarks, trade names, and software, is the property of Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge or its licensors and is protected under applicable UAE intellectual property laws, including Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights and Federal Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, transmit, or use any content from our platforms without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

10. Website and WebApp Usage

10.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of our WebApp, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.

10.2 Acceptable Use

When using our website and WebApp, you agree not to:

• Use the platforms for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UAE law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or networks
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to collect information from our platforms
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, offensive, obscene, or infringes upon the rights of third parties
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

10.3 Availability

We endeavour to ensure that our website and WebApp are available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the platforms at any time for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UAE law:

• Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services, website, or WebApp
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you during booking or consultation
• We shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to the Salon premises, unless caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of our staff

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge, its owners, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of our services, website, or WebApp
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any false, inaccurate, or incomplete information provided by you
• Any claim by a third party arising from your conduct

13. Force Majeure

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government actions or orders, civil unrest, war, terrorism, power failures, internet or telecommunications disruptions, or any other force majeure event. In such circumstances, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event, and we shall use reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable.

14. Gift Vouchers and Packages

• Gift vouchers are valid for the period stated on the voucher. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded
• Gift vouchers are non-transferable for cash and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless otherwise required by UAE law
• Pre-paid service packages must be used within the validity period specified at the time of purchase
• The Salon reserves the right to modify package offerings and pricing. Existing purchased packages shall be honoured at the original terms
• Lost or stolen gift vouchers will not be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided

15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

We strive to provide the highest quality services. If you have a complaint or concern, we encourage you to:

1. Raise the matter with our salon manager or front desk at the time of service or within twenty-four (24) hours
2. Submit a written complaint via email to info@rjbeautylounge.com
3. We will acknowledge your complaint within two (2) business days and endeavour to resolve it within fourteen (14) business days

If the matter remains unresolved, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant regulatory authority, including the Department of Economic Development (DED) Consumer Protection Division, Dubai Health Authority (DHA), or Dubai Municipality, as applicable.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in accordance with applicable UAE law.

16. Regulatory Compliance

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge operates in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, including but not limited to:

• Department of Economic Development (DED): Commercial licensing, trade name registration, and consumer protection
• Dubai Health Authority (DHA): Staff health cards, health and safety standards, specialised treatment permits, and health data protection
• Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC): Health data protection regulations where applicable, including HDPR No. 7 of 2013
• Dubai Municipality: Technical guidelines for salons and beauty centres, product approval and registration, hygiene standards, waste management, and periodic inspections
• UAE Federal Laws: Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), Consumer Protection Law, Cybercrime Law, ICT Health Law, and all other applicable federal legislation

We maintain all required licences, permits, and certifications and are subject to periodic inspections and audits by the relevant authorities. Any non-compliance identified is addressed promptly with appropriate corrective action.

17. Photography and Social Media

Clients are not permitted to photograph or record other clients or staff without their express consent. If you wish to take photographs or videos within the salon for personal use, please seek permission from management.

We may, with your prior consent, photograph or record your before-and-after results for marketing, training, or social media purposes. You may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying us in writing, and we will remove any such content from our platforms within a reasonable timeframe.

18. Personal Belongings

Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge shall not be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings, valuables, or property brought to our premises by clients or visitors. We advise clients to secure their belongings and avoid bringing valuable items to the salon.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or guidelines published on our website or WebApp, constitute the entire agreement between you and Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge regarding your use of our services and platforms. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.

21. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website and WebApp. Your continued use of our services or platforms after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws and regulations of the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
