This is the worst hair salon I have ever visited (globally). As per other negative reviews my reasons are same for the 1 star. FACTS: Stylist was nice and polite. I requested a basic layered mid-length hair style, pre sent the photos via WhatsApp and asked if they were capable of that cut, the cost for the cut and blow dry. I walked in with almost hip length hair, I walked out with just below shoulder hair with no layers and curtain bangs. COST: The salon quoted AED 350 + 5% VAT, via text before I walked in. At the check out they charged me AED 525. I asked the Filipina cleaner/ receptionist. She said blow dry is separate. I showed her the confirmation text with the price confirmed by the salon (inclusive of blow dry) she did not take ‘no’ for an answer on the original price agreed. They make it awkward and force you to pay for a service that is far below par. I have requested a call back from the owner but the reception lady has refused this. I have reported this business to Dubai department of consumer services on the grounds of unfair practices and non transparent charges. I will never set foot in this salon!

when I am in Dubai, I go out of my way to come and visit Ahmad here. He is one of the best stylish/Barber in the world… And worth the efforts. Everyone here is friendly and service is amazing.

Yunis, the Barber at Marriott Hotel/Executive Apartments Al Jadaf in Dubai is the best. His professionalism coupled with his experience as physiotherapist he gives unexpected satisfaction and pleasure to his customers. I encourage all hotel and apartment guests to ask for Yunis should they need a haircut service at the barber shop in the hotel. In short, he is the best!!!
